Call for tenure-track position application

The M.A. Program of International Development (Glocal) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem seeks to fill a tenure-track position (alternative ranks: Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor), commencing Fall 2019.

The Call is open to outstanding candidates in all areas and sub-fields of International Development, broadly construed, including in particular Community Development. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree at the time of hire, and demonstrate an active research program, indicating the potential for outstanding scholarship. The language of teaching at our Program is English.

The position is likely to be half-anchored in the International Development Program and half- anchored in a related department or Faculty. Candidates are thus requested to apply as soon as possible also to the relevant Department/s or Faculty/Faculties, in which they have substantive research interests (e.g., International Relations, Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology, Social Work, Business Management, Economics, European Forum, Geography, Law), and to note in their application to us, which additional Department/School/Faculty they have applied to.
