This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from our graduating students about their recent internships in developing countries, learn more about our program in International Development and welcome our keynote speaker - a Glocal alumnus.
Glocal is happy to update on the upcoming event for the graduation of cohort 8 of our students. The graduation event will take place on Wednesday the 13th March 2019, from 15:00 till 18:30, in Beit Meirsdorf Building in the Mount Scopus Campus in Jerusalem.We cordially invite all families, alumni, partners and those interested in Glocal to attend. Glocal's students and staff were happy to participate in the Pears Challenge 2019. Glocal's cohort 9 students Genevive Ogan Estacaan and Tatenda Probert Malan, together with Glocal teacher Imri Schattner-Ornan gave a talk in the Jerusalem launch event about their expeirence of working with Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) related issues in various situations and gave examples from their fieldwork in Bangladesh, Ethiopia and South Sudan. On January 27th, 2017 we launched our annual magazine in an event taking place at Yeffet 83, Jaffa's young adults community center. Nearly 50 participants gathered to discuss the role of development in areas of conflict, and to learn different perspectives of academics, and professional speakers from the field.
We thank Mr. Ariel Dloomy, Ms. Nivine Sandouka and Ms. Yalee Azani for speaking and to our dear guests for attending and presenting their views on the topic.
