Semester Abroad Program for undergraduate International students in Nepal

Glocal, the  Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University and the Israeli NGO  Tevel b'Tzedek are happy to announce the launch of a semester Abroad Program named “International Development and Social Justice”.

 

The Program will provide a first-rate academic experience, serving as the best semester abroad program offered in Nepal. It will play a pioneering role in connecting Jewish and other philosophical and religious traditions to contemporary issues of global poverty, globalization, development, and the environment. 

 

The Program will combine theoretical, policy and practical aspects of International Development, linking academic teaching with practical experience. It is aimed at equipping the students with basic knowledge and critical thinking of International Development, coupled with high-quality practical experience in the world of Development.

 

The Program aims to include B.A. students mainly from North America. In addition, HUJI students and Nepalese students may take part in it. The students will be drawn from all academic disciplines. It is proposed that the number of participants be in the order of 15 per Semester.
