Lauren is an international development practitioner with experience in program management, humanitarian response and international development  across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, the United States, and Israel. Lauren has served as Head of Mission and Country Director, managing disaster response and recovery programs and leading multidisciplinary teams across sectors such as WASH, education, child protection, and food security. 

She has also managed internship programs in human rights programs, and led immersive sustainability internships and courses at other non-profits. As Internship Advisor at the Glocal, she supports students in preparing for ethical, community-based fieldwork and integrating practical experience with academic learning.

She holds an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Haifa and a B.A. in Globalization Studies from Humboldt State University. Her work emphasizes experiential learning and values-driven development practice.
