Perspectives From the Field

We are excited to share with you critical, field-based, and academically attuned perspectives from the world of social change and community development, as presented by Glocal students. In this booklet, we introduce the highlight of the Glocal Program: our students’ internships with organizations serving disadvantaged communities around the world. 

Glocal’s teaching focuses on giving students tools and knowledge to work directly with communities in supporting their economic independence and social cohesion. Through their field internships, students experience working directly with communities and learn first-hand about the complexities of the field.
