For many years, my work has explored the poetics of space, time, memory, and narrative, through the creation of photographic images dealing with my relationship with these concepts. As an immigrant, I am continually returning to contemplations on identity and home. I am inspired by nature, history, geology, poetry, and literature. They all tell stories of place and time and also acquire a mystical quality. The medium that I work in is photography, mainly film photography.
