Mor Eliyahu is from Jerusalem, Israel. She has a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In her internship with Y.A Maof Company, Mor was involved in the development of projects related to social impact and environmental entrepreneurship for the target audience of high-school students in Buenos Aires and Santo Domingo. She was in charge of the company's partnership with the pontifical foundation Scholas Occurrentes, aiming to create programs to generate social, economic, and financial benefits in the field of environmental care. Her work under the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic exposed her to the major socio-economic challenges of various communities in the region, which increased with the pandemic and emphasized the effect of limited access to electricity and technological devices on access to education. Despite the geographical distance, Mor was able to gain experience and tools working in the midst of a global crisis, and to focus on creating a solid infrastructure for projects, together with partnerships among various actors in different sectors.
